Why did I choose to learn Japanese?
Hmm.... let me ponder at it for a while....
Well, for starters, I began self teaching myself Japanese sometime during my Sophomore year and it took a bit of a back seat my Junior and Senior year-
you know... the years AP classes begin piling and actual workload becomes a reality; when the studious upperclassman develops an intimate relationship with coffee;
When nightly anime marathons become a thing of the past; the prospect of getting into a good college becomes one's sole fixation.
yeah, pretty much high school and my Japanese hiatus in a nutshell.
Fun fact, I frequent many online communities. I go by Midori on these communities, which is the IGN is use for most games I play.

I don't watch anime but I think it's really cool that you have such a strong interest in it! I'm sure there are a lot of other students in our class who are learning Japanese because of their interest in Japanese anime. You have an awesome blog!
